Zusammenfassung
Die elektronischen Probleme der Kernphysik sind dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich hier meistens um die Verarbeitung statistisch einlangender Einzelimpulse handeltund daher nicht, wie in vielen anderen Gebieten der Elektronik, regelmäßige Wellenzüge vorliegen. Die Impulsform ist primär vom Detektor her bestimmtund wird bewußt so geändert, daß die gewünschte Information optimal abgeleitet werden kann. So ist die bewußte Impulsformung z. B. davon abhängig, ob vor allem genaue Auskunft über die im Detektor freigesetzte Ladungsmenge oder über den Zeitpunkt des Ereignisses im Detektor erhalten werden soll. Bei fast allen auf eine bloße Zählung hinauslaufenden Operationen (also in digitalen Schaltungen) werden normierte Impulsformen verwendet. Am häufigsten geschieht dies durch eine Normierung der Höheund der Länge in Form von „Rechteckimpulsen“. Die große Bedeutung der Rechteckimpulse beruht nicht zuletzt darauf, daß ihr Verhalten besonders leicht zu durchschauen istund eine Übertragung der durch sie gewonnenen Einsichten auf anders geformte Impulse oft ohne große Schwierigkeiten gelingt. Deshalb werden wir uns zunächst hauptsächlich mit dem Verhalten elektronischer Netzwerke gegenüber Rechteckimpulsen beschäftigen. Zuerst wollen wir jedoch kurz die elektronische Terminologie erläuternd einführen.
