Zusammenfassung

Molybdän ist ein außerordentlich wichtiges strategisches Metall, das zu etwa 80% in der Stahlindustrie verwendet wird (Spezialstähle). Ein kleinerer Prozentsatz des Molybdäns wird dort eingesetzt, wo sehr hohe Temperaturen auftreten, ferner in der Elektrotechnik für die Herstellung von Lampen. Unbedeutende Mengen verwendet man auch in der Farbindustrie und für medizinische Zwecke.
