The Design of the Electromagnetic Isotope Separator of the S.G.A.E.

Abstract

The E.M. Isotope Separator of the S.G.A.E. will be a medium size machine with a total ion current at the target of about 5 mA for medium masses. The total radioactivity to be handled in our machine at one time will be of the magnitude of several hundred millicuries.
