A Method of Rapid Electromagnetic Separation of Radioactive Isotopes

Abstract

In our nuclear spectroscopy work at the Nobel Institute of Physics we were faced with the problem of separating activities with half-lives as short as a few minutes. Here a short description of the technical solutions we have chosen and the main factors influencing the decisions will be given. Further, the result of some runs will be reported.
