Zusammenfassung

Durch die Arbeiten des Höchster Arbeitskreises1 in den Jahren 1937 bis 1942 sind zwei neue Klassen relativ einfach gebauter synthetischer Verbindungen mit morphinähnlicher Wirkung chemisch und pharmakologisch erschlossen worden. Dadurch wurde die Lösung eines Problems angeschnitten, um die sich die pharmazeutische Chemie durah Jahrzehnte umsonst bemüht hatte.
