Die aktinische Reizprobe kann man bei Massenuntersuchungen, z. B. in Ferienkolonien mittels der natürlichen Besonnung anstellen. Zweckmäßiger ist es wohl in den meisten Fällen, sich der Bestrahlung mit der Quarzlampe zu bedienen.
