Abstract
Leiomyomas of the uveal tract are extremely rare tumors. There is not much clinical significance to these neoplasms, as they do not represent a considerable percentage of all the uveal tumors. They are, however, of great pathologic interest and have caused a considerable amount of speculation as to their genesis, histologic differentiation, and clinical picture.
This paper is dedicated to the 75th birthday of Dr. J. Meller, professor emeritus of ophthalmology, University of Vienna.
