Zusammenfassung

Die arteriellen Durchblutungsstörungen des Rückenmarks haben im Vergleich zu den vaskulären Zerebralerkrankungen bisher relativ geringe Beachtung gefunden. Der Spinalkreislauf kann bei zahlreichen akuten und chronischen Krankheitsprozessen verschiedener Aetiologie entscheidend mitbeteiligt sein. Seine anatomischen und hämodynamischen Verhältnisse bestimmen die Qualität, Lokalisation und Ausdehnung der neurologischen Ausfälle.
