Zusammenfassung

Über den plastischen Gesteinszustand. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird der pla­stische Grenzzustand von Gesteinen untersucht. Dabei wird einerseits festgestellt, daß ein konvektiver Transport der Energie auch in festen Stoffen notwendig werden kann; andererseits wird hervorgehoben, daß die Plastizitätsgrenze von der Belastungs­geschwindigkeit abhängig ist. Die Untersuchung besteht aus einer Energieanalyse, die unter Zugrundelegung eines rheologischen Modells (des Poynting-Thomson­Modells) unter der Voraussetzung durchgeführt wird, daß der Übergang in den plastischen Zustand an ein bestimmtes Energieniveau gebunden ist. Als Ergebnis der Analyse wird festgestellt, daß eine den experimentellen Meßergebnissen entsprechende plastische Grenzbedingung als eine Funktion des mit der Distorsion verbundenen Anteils der gesamten Deformationsarbeit ausgedrückt werden kann.

Summary

On the Plastic Condition of Rock. The author has investigated the plastic limiting condition of the rocks. The paper shows that the convective energy-transfer is also possible in solid materials; on the other hand the variation of the plastic boundary depending on the rate of loading is found by experiments. The investigation is an energy analysis, made on the basis of a rheological model (Poynting-Thomson-model), assuming that the plastic behaviour will be occurred at a definitive energy level. The result of the analysis is that the obtained plastic condition is confirmed by experimental data, and it can be written depending on the strain term of the work of deformation.
