Summary
When rats are treated from birth with cyproteron-acetate, which is a powerful anti-androgen, fluorescence microscopy shows that from the 20th day there is a great increase in the catecholamines in the periventricular, paraventricular, suprachiasmatic, supra-optic and arcuate nuclei, and in the median eminence. There is also increase in the classical (peptidergic) neurosecretion.
