Abstract

Eye movements, either spontaneous or in reaction to headmovement or caloric stimulation (oculocephalic and vestibuloocular reflexes), emerge from previous studies and from the discriminative analysis of more than 1000 patients contained in the International Data bank (Glasgow, Rotterdam, Groningen, Los Angeles), as a very important prognostic factor which can be obtained by simple bedside observation.
