Antifibrinolytic Treatment of SAH with PAMBA

Abstract

The investigations carried out within the setting of a planned oral or i.v. treatment with PAMBA are directed at finding out whether the drug brings under control
  1. (i)

    the normal BBB function

     
  2. (ii)

    the pathologically changed BBB function due to inflammatory reactions in CIS

     
  3. (iii)

    the severely disturbed BBB function in cases of intracranial bleeding, and also reaches the therapeutically required level in the CSF.
