Material and Methods
This group comprises the cerebrospinal fluid which must be regarded as normal from a physiological point of view. With a protein concentration of < 0.35 g/1 it shows a protein ratio specific to CSF in the cellulose acetate membrane pherogram, a normal immunoglobulin dispersion (IgA 0.2–5 mg/1, IgG 13–22 mg/l, IgM 0 mg/1) as well as a normal qualitative and quantitative cell count (< 5 M/1) 94. The cerebrospinal fluid was withdrawn by lumbar puncture for establishing a diagnosis by exclusion in patients without organic neurological findings.
