Abstract
This talk is going to be quite different from the ones given during this school. In the other lectures, the speakers will make you acquainted with some special field of particle physics and they can do so by writing down equations which prove or disprove certain things, or by showing graphs of experimental results. With this talk the situation is much more delicate. I am going to talk about some intuitive insights I had into a surprising and, to me, very fascinating relationship between particle physics and Eastern philosophy.
Seminar given at XI. Internationale Universitätswochen für Kernphysik, Schladming, February 21 - March 4, 1972.
