In this seminar we want to report on a strange phenomenon that can arise in quantum field theory.

Seminar given by one of the authors (G.C.H) at XI. Internationale Universitätswochen für Kernphysik, Schladming, February 21 - March 4, 1972, and based on a paper to appear in I1 Nuovo Cimento A [1].
