Zusammenfassung

Die Behandlung von Angst- und Zwangs Störungen gehört zum „klassischen“ Repertoire der Verhaltenstherapie. In der Fachliteratur wird oft selbst von Ärzten, die primär biolo-gisch-pharmakotherapeutisch ausgerichtet sind, auf die Notwendigkeit einer zusätzlichen Verhaltenstherapie bei Angst- und Zwangsstörungen hingewiesen, um die hohen Rückfallsquoten (bis zu 90%) beim Absetzen der Medikamente zu reduzieren.
