Coordination Chemistry of Organoheterosiloxanes and Related Compounds
It is well known, that the structural unit in siloxane compounds has very weak donor properties and that only few and unstable coordination compounds have been reported. The now well established principle of dπpπ-multiple bonding is a reasonable explanation for this abnormal behaviour of the “silico ethers”.
