Thermal decomposition of [Mn(C2O4)2(H2O)2]K in solution. On dissolution in water a partial change takes place in hydroxo salt (1), according to
$${\left[ {Mn{{\left( {{C_2}{O_4}} \right)}_2}\left( {O{H_2}} \right){}_2} \right]^ - } \rightleftharpoons {\left[ {Mn{{\left( {{C_2}{O_4}} \right)}_2}\left( {O{H_2}} \right)} \right]^{2 - }} + {H^ + }$$
characterised by an increase of the extinction and a decrease of the pH value to 4. At pH = 4 reaction {1} is completely on the left side with quantitative formation of the [Mn(C2O4)2(H2O)2]- ion. The decomposition can be referred to the following consecutive reactions.
