Kinetic Study of the Isotopic Exchange of EDTA Complexes of the Gallium Group Elements

Abstract

Little information is available concerning the isotopic exchange of coordination compounds of tervalent gallium group elements, which have the typical d10 structure. We have undertaken the kinetic study by use of EDTA complexes of these elements labelled with radioisotopes. Similar studies with EDTA -OH (N -2 -hydroxyethylethylenediamine -N, N’, N’ -triacetate) complexes were also made for comparison.
