Patienten mit schwereren Herzveränderungen vertragen in der Regel größere chirurgische Eingriffe auffallend gut. Dies gilt insbesondere beim Fehlen einer Herzinsuffizienz mit Stauung. Oft ist eine Angst bezüglich Patienten dieser Gruppe unberechtigt.
