Zusammenfassung
Beim Erwachsenen beträgt der Anteil von Sarkomen an allen malignen Tumoren 1%, bei Kindern 6 – 8%. Maligne Weichgewebstumoren treten in allen Lebensjahren auf, mit Betonung der höheren Lebensdezennien. Ungefähr 15% der Patienten sind jünger als 15 Jahre, ber 40% sind 55 Jahre oder älter. Das männliche Geschlecht ist etwas häufiger betroffen als das weibliche (Russell). Rhabdomyosarkome und extraskelettäre Ewing’s Sarkome treten überwiegend bei Kindern und Jugendlichen auf, Fibro- und Synovialsarkome vor allem zwischen dem 20. und 40. Lebensjahr. Das maligne fibröse Histiozytom (MFH) hat seine größte Häufigkeit jenseits des 45. Lebensjahres. In der topographischen Verteilung fmden sich retroperitoneal in erster Linie Lipo- und Leiomyosarkome, an den Extremitäten Lipo-, Fibrosarkome, MFH’s und mal. Synovialome, am Stamm Lipo- und Rhabdomyosarkome, im Kopf/ Halsbereich Rhabdomyo- und Fibrosarkome. In der Körperverteilung weisen Retroperitoneum 12%, Extremitäten 56%, Stamm 18%, Kopf/Hals 14% Anteil auf.
