Abstract

We consider a continuous medium B to be the bounded closed subset of the Euclidean space E3. In the theory of materials, the medium B is considered to be a differentiable manifold and is called a material space. However, for our purposes it is not necessery to use this notion. Our set B corresponds to the reference configuration of the medium.
