Miscellaneous Indications for Gamma Knife Radiosurgery

  • Chapter
Gamma Knife Surgery

Abstract

This chapter concerns cerebral metastases, together with a group of different diagnoses which individually either occur seldom or are referred seldom, so that general principles have not as yet been worked out in respect of them. Nonetheless, many of these diagnoses have characteristics which require that the referring physician is in possession of specific information, in order to assess the relevancy of referral and to be in a position to communicate with the patient.
