Abstract

The preparation, including the brain stem, cerebellum, and diencephalon, is progressively reduced by 4 mm thick sections for Figs. 154–165 and by 1mm thick sections for Figs. 166–168. Each figure consists of the remaining surface section with oblique views intended to localize the level of the section. Whenever possible head sections and MRI are added. An identical key applies to any panels a figure is composed of.
