The Use of Fluidics in Manoeuvring Systems
The use of fluidics enables large flows to be switched very quickly so that manoeuvring systems can be built having a very rapid response. Such systems have wide fields of application both in Aero and Hydrospace. To date most work on fluidic devices operating with sea water has concentrated on their use as thrusters usually mounted in the bow of the vessel. In Aerospace the majority of work has been concerned with the thrust vector control of rockets.
