Abstract

Sophisticated technology, particularly as developed in aerospace engineering, is penetrating more and more into other areas such as ground transportation (by rail, road and water), off-shore oil source exploration, and energy engineering. This ever-growing tendency has prompted a dramatically increasing demand for structural dynamics techniques.
