Integration of Nonlinear Stochastic Systems and Applications to the Crack Identification

Abstract

The problem of the stochastic crack identification is explained using the nonlinear model of a crack oscillator under white noise. In a first investigation, we restrict our interest to one degree of freedom systems with a linear external damping. Its partially cracked restoring element is described by a bilinear spring characteristic.
