Let us consider a plane wave which varies harmonically in time. The wave front is located at instant t = const. in the plane p = xini, n being the unit normal vector to the plane. Thus the displacements and rotations should be assumed in the following form
Here c is the phase velocity, ω — the angular frequency and l — the wave length.
