Abstract
This paper deals with the application of CAD/CAM to the realization of an artificial bone for a prosthesis. The first prototype is in construction at the Politecnico di Milano, Department of Mechanics, Laboratory of Robotics, using a C: A. T. I. A. system and an industrial IBM robot with special mills.
