Summary

System identification demands in each case a suitable excitation. Independent of the application of one of the numerous system indentification methods so much mechanical energy has to be fed into the system, that an evaluable reaction of the system under investigation occurs. The aim of identification is to provide an experimentally secured model describing the dynamic behaviour.
