Abstract

This thesis proposes an approach to the generation of hypertexts in mixed-initiative situations in which the points of view of both the user and the system are taken into account. The system, besides planning the content of each “hyperdialogue” section at the appropriate level of detail, has the capability of dealing with changes in the interaction context that require reaction, and proactively provides advice to the user accordingly.
