Explicit Solution for a Class of Allocation Problems

  • Chapter
Multicriteria Decision Making

Part of the book series: International Centre for Mechanical Sciences ((CISM,volume 211))

Abstract

In this paper, we deal with the classical allocation problem of optimizing the function

under the following constraints

that can be solved by applying the dynamic programming algorithm 1. Under particular assumptions on fi(xi), the explicit solution can be obtained for the problem above 2.
