Zusammenfassung
Die Synchronmaschine ist die wichtigste elektrische Maschine für die Erzeugung elektrischer Energie im großen und bildet somit den Kernpunkt eines jeden Elektrizitätswerkes für Wechsel- oder Drehstrom. Von den Kraftwerken
für die mit Wechselstrom betriebenen elektrischen Vollbahnen abgesehen, kommt nur noch die Drehstrom-Synchronmaschine zur Verwendung. Im folgenden wird daher ausschließlich diese behandelt und anschließend die Einphasen-Synchronmaschine als Sonder-fall der Drehstrom-Synchronmaschine kurz besprochen.
