Nipple-Sparing Mastectomy and Immediate Implant-Based Reconstruction with an Acellular Dermal Matrix (ADM)

The 46-year-old patient with multicentric invasive lobular cancer of the right breast was scheduled for nipple-sparing mastectomy and immediate implant-based reconstruction using an acellular dermal matrix (ADM). The breast was of medium size and moderate ptosis with the right breast slightly smaller than the left breast (Fig. 42.1a, b). There were no patient-associated risk factors.
