A 54-year-old postmenopausal woman was diagnosed with a 22 mm receptor positive, HER2/neu negative, G2 invasive breast cancer with concomitant intraductal carcinoma in situ in the upper outer quadrant of the left breast. Axillary lymph node status was negative. The breast was of medium size and ptotic (Fig. 33.1a, b).
