Abstract

The 58-year-old woman had a palpable mass in the left submammary fold with a diameter of 2 cm in the ultrasound and mammography (Figs. 20.1 and 20.2). Sure cut biopsy showed an invasive ductal adenocarcinoma of the left breast G3 triple negative (basal like) with a KI67 of 60 %. Preoperative chemotherapy was an option, but breast conservation was possible also without preoperative treatment; thus, the patient decided to undergo immediate surgery.
