Zusammenfassung
Aus Sicht der Emotionsfokussierten Therapie spielen Emotionen eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Konstruktion und Organisation des Selbst. Die Unterscheidung unterschiedlicher Typen emotionalen Erlebens stattet Therapeuten mit einem Kompass für differenzielles Intervenieren aus. Wir diskutieren, wie man effektiv mit Emotionen arbeiten kann, und legen grundlegende Verarbeitungsschritte auf dem Weg zur emotionalen Transformation sowie Prinzipen emotionaler Veränderung dar. Wir stellen einen Fall vor und beschreiben unterschiedliche Formen von Problemen in der emotionalen Verarbeitung sowie spezifische Vorgangsweisen zu deren Überwindung.
