Zusammenfassung

Bei einem Umbau bzw. einem so großen Zubau wie der Terminalerweiterung Check-in 3 ist eine Vielzahl an baulichen und infrastrukturellen Maßnahmen notwendig. Neben umfangreichen Abbrucharbeiten und Neubauten werden zumeist auch Provisorien benötigt. Der Terminal 1A wurde einerseits als temporärer Check-in-Bereich zur Erhöhung der Abfertigungskapazitäten bis zur Eröffnung von Check-in 3 konzipiert. Andererseits soll er auch während der diversen Revitalisierungsphasen im Terminalbestand, die nach Inbetriebnahme des neuen Terminals geplant sind, die notwendigen Check-in-Kapazitäten sicherstellen.

Abstract

Such a major adaptation and extension, as is the case with the new terminal Check-in 3, involves a wealth of structural and infrastructural measures. Parallel to demolition work and the construction of new buildings, often provisional facilities are needed. Terminal 1A was conceived, on the one hand, as a temporary check-in area to increase handling capacities up to the opening of Check-in 3. On the other hand, it should also guarantee the required check-in capacities during the diverse revitalisation phases of the existing terminals, which are planned after the new terminal commences operations.
