Abstract

Reduction of operating time is an important factor in improving the postoperative outcome. A two-team approach is of utmost importance. After tumor resection the team performs either neck dissection or vessel preparation for microanastomosis together with flap harvesting. Two cautery systems are prepared and the height of the table is adjusted so that the reconstructive team can be seated.
