Zusammenfassung

Die traumatischen Erfahrungen, die Menschen mit Posttraumatischer Belastungsstörung gemacht haben, bedürfen spezifischer Strategien in der Therapie, egal ob es sich um eine Kombination aus Expositions- und kognitiven Verfahren handelt, behavioralen Konzepten oder anderen therapeutischen Interventionen. Exemplarisch sei hier die Psychodynamisch Imaginative Trauma Therapie von Luise Reddemann erwähnt, PITT, ein innovativer Therapieansatz, der sich vor allem in der Behandlung der Posttraumatischen Belastungsstörung, dissoziativen Störungen und Persönlichkeitsstörungen klinisch bewährt hat. Es finden sich Elemente der angewandten Psychoanalyse sowie der kognitiven Verhaltenstherapie und imaginativen Verfahren, ebenso Prinzipien der Achtsamkeitsmeditation.
