Zusammenfassung

„Wiener Philosoph“ ist zumindest zweideutig. Einerseits bezieht es sich auf in Wien wirkende Philosophen, andererseits postuliert es einen Wiener Stil. Dieses Kapitel behandelt Kazimierz Twardowski als Wiener Philosophen in beiden Bedeutungen. Es behandelt also das Æuvre der Wiener Jahre (d.h. bis zur Übersiedlung nach Lemberg), und außerdem wird Twardowski als Repräsentant der Wiener (bzw. weiter gefasst: österreichischen) Philosophie charakterisiert. Zweifellos zählt nicht nur der „frühe“ Twardowski in gewisser Hinsicht zu dieser Tradition.
