Zusammenfassung

Zugänge zur Schädelbasis sind gerade in den letzten Jahrzehnten immer weiter entwickelt und verfeinert worden. Gerade die temporomediale Region sowie der Sinus cavernosus sind hierbei aus verschiedenen Richtungen angehbar. Yasargil [6] propagierte für die meisten Prozesse der vorderen und anterioren mittleren Schädelbasis die pterionale Trepanation, die bei Bedarf nach subtemporal erweitert werden kann [2,4].
