Zusammenfassung

Die posttraumatische Belastungsstörung (PTSD — „posttraumatic stress disorder“) ist im Zuge der letzten Jahrzehnte in zunehmendem Maße in den Mittelpunkt psychiatrisch-gutachterlichen Interesses geraten und ist so zum Gegenstand behördlicher und gerichtlicher Auseinandersetzungen geworden. Aus diesem Grund, aber auch, weil traumatisierte Menschen im Zuge solcher Verfahren oft unerträglichen Belastungen und Retraumatisierun-gen ausgesetzt sind, erscheint es uner-lässlich, diesen Fragen eine besondere Bedeutung zuzumessen.
