Zusammenfassung

Zur Behandlung der Endometriose stehen prinzipiell mehrere Modalitäten zur Verfügung, nämlich die operative Beseitigung der Implantate, die medikamentöse Zyklusblockade zur Suppression der Herde und das expektative Management. Zur definitiven Sanierung ist allerdings allein eine operative Therapie geeignet. Diese Feststellung soll nicht zum Anlass genommen werden, prinzipiell beim Verdacht auf Endometriose eine operative Intervention durchzuführen.
