Zusammenfassung

Was kann man einem Kollegen mitgeben, wenn ein runder Geburtstag näher rückt? Man ist froh, wenn es Freunde gibt, die eine Festschrift organisieren. Denn dann kann man sich — ausgestattet mit sonst nicht mehr unbedingt üblicher gestalterischer Freiheit — einem Thema widmen, über das man immer schon einmal organisiert nachdenken wollte, und damit seiner Leidenschaft und Berufung frönen und gleichzeitig zum Geschenk beitragen. Zudem sollten die Ausführungen eine Balance finden zwischen den eigenen Interessen und jenen des „Jubilars“. Ich hoffe, dass all das auf den folgenden Seiten gelungen ist, dass sie sowohl einigermaßen organisiert sind als auch von Nachdenken zeugen und dass sie daher Anregung sind, gerade weil die behandelten Beispiele ganz bewusst einiges mit Gesundheits- und Sozialökonomik zu tun haben, (und nicht etwa mit Film oder Fußball). So überwiegt am Ende hoffentlich der positive Eindruck, auch wenn vieles lediglich angerissen wird und dem eigenen Weiterdenken überlassen bleibt. Dass meine Ausführungen daher schlussendlich die Form des vorliegenden Essays angenommen haben, ergab sich folgerichtig.
