Abstract
Some advanced propulsion systems do not require any propellant at all (or at least very little in the case of Mini-Magnetosphere propulsion), which makes them very attractive for several applications such as satellite de-orbiting or even interstellar missions. The energy required can be either supplied internally (solar arrays, on-board nuclear power generation) or externally (laser, microwave, sun, magnetic fields). All concepts presented are still in the demonstration/feasibility concept phase but soon will be used quite frequently such as tethers.
