Die Implementierung der ICF in das Rehabilitationsmanagement — ein Fallbeispiel

Zusammenfassung

Die Zuweisung zu einer rehabilitativen Maßnahme richtet sich nach der Krankheitsdiagnose, dem Krankheitsstadium, aber auch nach der Einschränkung der Funktionsfähigkeit (Gutenbrunner 2007). Die Ziele der Rehabilitation unterscheiden sich von denen der Akutversorgung. In der Akutversorgung werden meist akut aufgetretene Krankheiten behandelt und als das übergeordnete Ziel gilt die Heilung. In der Rehabilitation, zu der häufig Personen mit chronischen Erkrankungen zugewiesen werden, rückt die Optimierung und Erhaltung der Funktionsfähigkeit unter Berücksichtigung der Umweltfaktoren in den Vordergrund (Stucki, Cieza, Melvin 2007). Die Internationale Klassifikation der Funktionsfähigkeit, Behinderung und Gesundheit (ICF) (WHO 2001) stellt das Rahmenkonzept zum Verständnis und zur Beschreibung von Funktionsfähigkeit dar.
