Zusammenfassung
Schatzmann beschrieb 1953, daß Herzglykoside den aktiven Na-K-Transport in der Erythrozytenmembran hemmten [18]. Wenig später wiesen Cooperstein und Brockmann die hemmende Wirkung der Glykoside auch für den Darm nach und zeigten, daß Strophanthidin im Hundecolon den Transport von Na gegen einen Konzentrationsgradienten hemmte und die elektrische Potentialdifferenz senkte [2]. In der Folgezeit wurden diese Ergebnisse vielfach bestätigt und die Hemmwirkung auch für andere Stoffe nachgewiesen (Übersicht bei [13]).
