Im Rahmen des psychiatrischen Dienstes hat die Einrichtung von Fann für Westafrika Modellcharakter. Sie ruft schon lange die verschiedensten Kommentare hervor und liefert immer noch den Stoff für zahlreiche Diskussionen.
