Summary
The λ-scheme and shock-fitting are applied to analyze the flow about a double ellipse on a variety of free-stream Mach numbers and angles of attack, and accuracy and reliability of the results are discussed.
“Authors, on the whole, limit themselves to explanations of their way of doing things, apparently with total success (it would be refreshing to read a paper where attempts were not successful).” G.J. Hancock [1]
